DRAMATURGICAL DEVELOPMENTS THROUGH THE FOCUS OF VARNA SUMMER INTERNATIONAL THEATRE FESTIVAL

This collection contains developed papers presented at the conference “Dramaturgical Developments through the Focus of Varna Summer International Theatre Festival”, which in 2017 marked the 25th anniversary of the festival. Its topic invites for reflections on the developments in the field of  dramaturgy in contemporary theatre presented in the festival’s programmes. The statements by the authors coming from the field of theatre theory, history and criticism prove to what extent the concept of “dramaturgy” has expanded its boundaries.
